Unlike many other Orlando parks and attractions, Discovery Cove is exclusive, limiting the number of its guests to only 1,000 people per day.  This provides a much more intimate environment for you to share with the dolphins, tropical birds, and exotic fishes.  Here you can visit coral reefs teeming with colorful sea creatures, explore an underwater cave, relax on soft white beaches, and feed and interact with hundreds of amazing birds and animals.  Snorkel through shipwreck remains. There are also sharks and fierce barracuda to be seen from behind the safety of protective glass.

Swim with Dolphins!  After a brief but informative presentation on these playful and intelligent sea mammals, you will be taught basic hand signals and other methods of communicating with the Discovery Cove dolphins.  You then get escorted to Dolphin Lagoon where you can familiarize yourself with your dolphin.  This culminates in an unforgettable experience, a private, one-on-one swim across the lagoon with your dolphin!

  • Continental breakfast, sumptuous lunch, plus all snacks and beverages throughout the day.
  • Snorkel gear, swim vest or wet suit, towels, lockers, sunscreen, beach chairs.
  • All day self-parking.
  • Personal photo portrait of you and your party as you enter Discovery Cove.
  • Admission to either SeaWorld Orlando or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay* for seven consecutive days. Or a combination pass with admission to both parks for 14 consecutive days for $30 more.

    2008 Twilight Discovery Summer Package:

    During the warm Orlando summer nights, visitors can enjoy Twilight Discovery, an all-inclusive evening package that brings the intimacy of Discovery Cove to an extraordinary level for 150 people a night. From 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Twilight Discovery immerses guests in a tropical paradise, wrapping them in twilight encounters with dolphins and enchanted evening swims through colorful coral reefs featuring thousands of tropical fish and rays.

    As night falls, the journey moves to Laguna Grill for dining and dancing. Guests will navigate their way through gourmet items such as blackened sea scallops and flame-grilled sirloin steak. The decadence continues with fountains of chocolate fondue, flaming bananas Foster and a variety of cakes and petit fours -- for a sweet ending to a perfect evening in paradise.

    Twilight Discovery will be offered select dates June 3 through August 22, 2008.

    Attraction Hours: Dolphin wades start at 5 p.m. and end by 7 p.m.
    Aviary and Tropical River close at 5:30 p.m.
    Coral Reef, Resort Pool and Ray Lagoon close briefly at 5:30 p.m. and reopen at 5:45 p.m. until dusk

    Availability: Twilight Discovery begins at 3 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m.

    Dinner: Guests choose their dinner selections from four culinary islands located on the patio of Laguna Grill. Chef-attended stations prepare delicious, gourmet items such as blackened sea scallops, flame-grilled sirloin steak, grilled jumbo shrimp and create-your-own pasta dishes, to name a few. Soft drinks, water and a variety of Anheuser-Busch beverages are also available.

    Desserts: After dinner, guests check out the massive dessert stations located inside Laguna Grill to find overflowing fountains of chocolate fondue, flaming Bananas Foster and a variety of layered cakes and petit fours.

    Admission Price: $269 plus tax for dolphin wade and $169 plus tax for non-dolphin admission. Price listed is per person, plus tax. Please note, at least one dolphin-wade package is required per reservation when booking. Advance reservations for Twilight Discovery are required.
