Prepare to be amazed
at the phenomenal talents of over 150 brilliant artisans.
These top artists will be displaying exceptional
masterpieces utilizing glasswork, sculpture, woodwork,
metallurgy, jewelry, leatherwork, painting, digital art,
collage, mosaic, and more.

“Festival of the
Masters” has been an annual event at Walt Disney World Florida for
over 3 decades. In an effort to showcase the talents of only the
most gifted artists, Disney requires that all participants must have
recently received an award at another respected art festival. In
addition, participants are hand selected by a panel of art experts.
This ensures that the artistic displays seen by visitors are of the
highest quality.
This nationally recognized art show is not only for adults. During
this festival, special attention will be given to aspiring little
artists. Youngsters will be provided with the ability to create
their own unique masterpiece!
Live music and entertainment will also be provided.
Dates: Nov. 7, 8, and 9, 2008

FESTIVAL HISTORY:
Learn some fascinating facts and timely
tidbits about this world-renown festival that attracts
prominent artists and artisans as well as art aficionados,
collectors and art lovers.
The Festival is celebrating over 30 years at Downtown Disney®.
In 1979 Walt Disney World® Resort introduced the "Masters"
concept to the fifth year of an increasingly popular event
then known as the "Art Festival in the Village." The Fine
Art was moved from Downtown Disney® Marketplace to Downtown
Disney® West Side in 2002.
Festival of the Masters is a nationally-recognized art show
which continues to be ranked among the country's finest
outdoor art festivals each year. |
